We ordered the 586 in purple but received a totally different dress in aqua after being contacted by the seller. We understood that the only size 8 in purple was messed up and chose the aqua. But the dress that arrived wasn't the 586, it was similar but not really. My daughter looked beautiful in the aqua dress, it just wasn't what we had seen online and expected to receive. It is very well made and is a true Cinderella dress, though.
We ordered this dress for our daughters sweet 16 after many months of shopping around in brick and mortar stores. We were very leery about buying something online because of the fit. My daughter and I looked at this dress here on amazon a number of times and decided that we'd take a leap of faith and order it. WOW, are we glad we did! It shipped from the west coast and arrived here in NY very fast. My daughter wears a size 6 dress but we ordered the size 8 thinking if anything, we'd have it altered. Well the fit was absolutely perfect for her. It fit wonderfully except, of course, the length. Measuring in at just 5 feet tall we had expected we'd need to have it hemmed. We took about 5" off the bottom.

Something to keep in mind- there is two layers of lining and 6 or layers of tulle. It did cost a pretty penny to have hemmed, about $150 here in NYC, but WELL WELL worth the money!
If you're considering this dress I suggest ordering a size up from your normal dress size and be prepared to look FABULOUS!
